Thank You!

It's usual for me to buy a book or two once a month. It was usual for me to eat food that tastes good—but still complain. It was usual for me to hate studying for all it causes me is distress. It was usual for me to grumble for the reason that I cannot find my stuff.

But when I enter and buy a book in a bookstore, then go out to the streets and see children—children who don't know what reading is . . .

When I eat food and grumble because I want to eat something else, then see children who would rejoice their hearts out when you give them a small sundae cone . . .

When I get tired of studying and tell myself that I don't want to study anymore, then see children in the streets who work their whole minds and beings off just to have something to eat at the same time to pay their school bills . . .

When I complain easily because I can't find my stuff, and accuse people that they hid them; then I see people who haven'tand will not see the wonderful world our Father had made, yet they don't accuse Him why He made them that way . . .

People like them makes me cherish my books more. They make me satisfied with everything there is to eat. They make me feel like I'm the luckiest guy in the world for all I have to do is study and not work. And they have taught me to appreciate and look at the brighter side of life.
Thank you Father for I am what I am, and thank you for opening my eyes and making me satisfied with all I have.
Thank you Father for all the blessings and blessings in disguise. Thank you Father for making me appreciate what I have, though sometimes, I seek vanity, I know you will always lead me back.

All I can say is: Thank You Father!

MY HOMEWORK: Autobiography & Gerunds

Hi I am Dan Galman, I am thirteen years old, homeschooled, and I am proud of it. I am into blogging and writing. Actually, I am writing a novel galvanized by my grandfather's childhood. I am also into photography. I am still learning, though. But I really enjoy taking photographs of animals, sceneries and most especially people.
Sample shots
The actual size is bigger. I only made the pictures smaller due to copyright issues.
One of my avocations are reading, I read when I am companionless, when I want to be companionless or whenever I want to unwind. When I read I experience luxury, gusto, anything you want to label it as long as it means relaxing. I also go to a different world; and that is why I genuinely adore reading. It makes me forget about anything and everything for awhile.

Besides reading I draw and sketch. I draw a lot more before than these days, though. When I was still young our house was filled with my random drawings of animals, sceneries, Woody, SpongeBob, Patrick (Yes I am a fan of Woody, SpongeBob, Patrick and everything in between),  and a lot of portraits. But now I seldom draw the traditional way because a year or two ago I have found a new hobby that is still related to sketching and drawing and it is drawing and editing photos on the computer. I am actually illustrating a children's book with my fellow school mate.
In short I have a lot of activities I draw, play, I study, do computer, write, blog, take photographs, read and do everything that is in between!

My dad and I have a lot in common, we are into gadgets and other techie stuff. My dad tells me about the latest, and I also tell him about the latest of the latest. We are also into photography. I don't know why I really got into photography, but when I asked for my own camera, my dad bought me one. On my birthday.

Anyway, the night when he gave it to me, we stayed outside our house for quite a while and explored what my camera has and what can it do. He also taught me some tips that are really helpful and I also shared to him what I've learned.

My dad is very supportive, he supports me and my brother every time. Although for us to get that something we have to earn it. It's like we have to work for it not just grab it instantly without doing something. But one of the main thing we do to get something we want is to be P.A.T.I.E.N.T. if my dad sees that we're not patient we have to wait lo-o-o-o-onger. It's so wonderful to not be spoiled, although sometimes you wish to be, you'll realize that if they do they're hurting you in the long run.

I am writing this article because it's my dad's Birthday! Happy Birthday Dad!

I'm very thankful for my dad and my mom! Are you?

1 of 2 Our Trip: Off to Penaranda!

________________________________________________________________
Here in the gasoline station near our house at exactly Quarter to One. The price of gasoline is much more expensive than the last time we went to one.

It's almost 1:00 am, and we're here on our first NLEX Toll Gate! I open a window on my side and stare at the cemented road that will be green pastures soon.

I'll miss the city. I'll be back tomorrow, though. Just being dramatic. *Laughs*
The smell of green pasture's going into my nostrils. The smell of wet green grass is so eye-opening, it wants me to grasp for morethe sweet smell of banana trees, other trees, the smell of cows’ waste and pig feeds; trees from left to right, the smell of smoke. And the radio station I'm listening to is getting choppy.

This could only mean one thing“Province…”

It's 1:37 am, and I'm about to shut my eyes close! But I am fighting my sleepiness.

2:15 am. Too fight the tiredness that I'm feeling, I listened to music, my brother still has the old songs we usually play way back 2009 - 2010. I'm going back to yesteryear! After our sound-trip I got tired. Really tired. My eyes shut, wandering into the land where anything can happen,

Dreamland. . .

I can't remember what I dreamt of but in the middle of my journey in Dreamland, my earthly spirit heard and felt that the engine stopped. Immediately, my eyes are opened . . . still sleepy but anxious.

4:55 in the morning, we are here! Exact location, PeƱaranda, Nueva Ecija.
My father's hometown.

 Unpack, unpack!

I'll be sleeping in this hard bed! The mat is made out of dried “buri leaves,” then it's woven diagonally to produce a design. It's called “Banig!” I admit, I miss sleeping in this kind of bed! Hard but comfy!

I'm used to sleeping everywhere, siting. standing, on the car, bus, floor. That's why sleeping here isn't a challenge for me. Some kids my age doesn't like to sleep in this kind of bed, though.

I'm saying random things, I am probably tired.

5:38 in the morning

5:38 am. Editing this article, I can hear dogs barking, roosters crowing. It's not even dark anymore. The sun has probably risen. I mean, the sun has risen. I can already hear my grandmother, cooking, drinking, walking around the kitchen. I just remember that I still have to sleep.

While my siblings are wildly unconscious about what's happening in this world, I'm awake writing my first few hours about what happened today.I turn off the light, *yawn* close my eyes.

Dreamland…

Watch out for part Two!

Make The Most Out of It/My New Blog Button

Enough with the Hunger Games posts for a moment.

I use a laptop waiting for our computer to be fixed.   I need to make a new logo. I said to myself. Well, I can't make one because the editing software that I use is on our broken computer.  ‘But I can't do nothing.’ That only means one thing—I have to make the most out of what I have. ‘Let's see, what do we have here, Microsoft Word, MS Paint . . . MS Paint!’

With MS Paint I have made a new logo for my site! It's not the best but I made the most out of what I have, right?

My new logo! Please look into your right and then look for the Grab My Button!’ Copy the link and post it on your blog! It'd mean a lot, lot, lot! If you have a blog button, I can put it on my blog too!

My Photography: Reminders

People are like shadows, in your shining moment they will all follow you, support  you, and  love you,  but in your darkest moment... somehow they all disappear... BUT GOD WILL NEVER EVER EVER DO THAT TO US, HE IS FAITHFUL WE JUST HAVE TO TRUST HIM!
A lot of people gamble in casinos, etc... Well nothings gonna happen in your life if you spend your money in casinos, you will just end up  sorry!!! Just focus your eyes on Jesus and you will never be sorry!
