iPod-o-graphy: Phoster

Hi!

Today, I will show you photographs taken from my iPod. As much as possible I would like my iPodographs to be edited only on apps available for my iPod and not on desktop (so I can still completely say that they're iPodographs). The photos I'm about to show you are edited using Phoster one of my most-used-editing/photography-apps!

Phoster has soooo many templates to choose from, from wedding magazines, to cook books, to photography magazines, to fashion magazines and some more random templates  . . . !

Photographed this while the light was striking the pool beautifully, I then positioned my iPod in front of the sun and slightly blurred the lens and there ya have it! (right)

The Blur and The City! (left)

Since the iPod takes noisy photos when it's dark, what I did was I applied a dusty-like effect that eliminates the noise at the same time creates something dramatic. (right)

The flower's originally white, I just scrolled the saturation to the maximum level to make it pink! (left)

If you really can't remove the noise . . .  just embrace it! (right)

Belated Happy New Year!

There you have it my iPodographs. I have a lot more but I still don't know what portfolio to put them.

All of the images are taken otherwise made by Dan Galman. Copyright.

My Photography: Candles/Mga Kandila

November 1, the day when streets will be filled with candles . . .
When I went out of our house (on November 1) and saw the candles I immediately took my camera out and started taking pictures, because in my 11 months of being a "photographer" I realized that I haven't photographed a single image of a lighted candle (Well now I have! What an achievement, I know!)

So now, I present to you . . . candles!
This one's my favorite! (up)

Around the Campus

A month ago my dad, brother and I went to U.P. (a school). My brother had a competition in U.P. so my dad had to drive him there, and I went with them simply, because I want to drive my bike! My dad told me that the school's campus is a good place to bike . . . and he's right!

And of course I took photos while biking around the campus!

Can't make up my mind! Is that an ant carrying another ant, or an ant eating an ant? (left)

First tree! (right)

Second! (right)

Third tree! (left)

After biking for more than an hour, I rested, and it's my dad's turn! (right)

My Photography: Road Trip

Last Friday we went to our province. But of course, before you get to any province you need to wait for hours. Hours of sitting. If you were me you'd read a book. Sadly, I wasn't able to do so. Because my books were at the post office and the post office here in Caloocan City is only open at Thursdays and Fridays (Unfair [totally unfair]).

Good thing I have my Boredom Busters When You are in a Road Trip list, and my second buster is:

  1. Read
  2. Take Pictures!
  3. Listen to music and sing!
  4. Bug your seatmate aka my brother.
  5. Sleep.

I did take pictures! Enjoy!

My mockingjay pin. (Left)

There was a wire in the middle which I have removed, to make it look better. (Right)

This one is my favorite. After I shot this and looked at the preview it looked like it was shot in another country (I think?)! (Left)

This one, looks like a forest from some fairy-tale! Do you agree? (Right)

My mom's favorite! (Left)

Gumamela flower! (Right)

A closer look at the Gumamela! (Left)

 Look it's a snail! I've officially named him—or her—Gary. (Right)

 A rose . . .  (Left)

This one is also one of my favorites. This picture somehow reminds me of Owl City's album cover: the Midsummer Station. (Left)

Do you have any inspirational or awesome caption to put in any of the pictures?
Please comment below if you do!

My Photography: Bokeh

Hey everyone! Please take a look at my new "collection". This compilation is full of blurred or out-of-focused images . . . a.k.a. Bokeh (boh-kÉ™, Japanese: [boke]).

Taken at a wake service. It's a lamp, obviously. (Right)

This one is taken at my dad's friend's garden. Relaxin'. (Left)

This one . . . uhm, I was inside a taxi cab, bored, because of the traffic; so I took pictures! And I like what I've came up with! (Right)

While I was bored and was staring at the streets through the cab's wet window I saw the street lights; and there you have it! (Left)

This one is my favorite, although I could not remember where I shot it. (Right)

The last one is taken at a department store. It's a tree surrounded by sparkling lights. (Left)

“Turn disasters into wonderful masterpieces with 'the blur' (bokeh if you prefer). ”
